On the FECC message board we found the first details on the new Paramount DVD’s. The good news, all offer 1.85:1 widescreen prints and 5.1 surround enhanced sound and restored English mono.
On the negative side, there are no extra features, not even a trailer. Another disappointment is that there are no chapter stops for the songs as in the previous Paramount releases. On ‘Girls! Girls! Girls!’ they used a picture from ‘Roustabout!’ and on ‘Paradise Hawaiian Style’ a picture from ‘Blue Hawaii’.
