Great stuff. Just shows what a little advertising can do. Well done to the Irish fans.

That is a nice song to choose, something that will largely be new to the general public. We have a new breakfast TV show in the UK starting on Monday and the adverts for that have featured "A Little Less Conversation" in the background.

Great to observe that Elvis' music is so very often used for commercials in the last few years. He is really an integral part of modern society. He may have left the building, but not our world

Really cool to see n hear! Elvis is just the BIGGEST!! I too just seen a commercial in the U.S. using Devil in Disguise, but I didnt catch exactly what was being advetised. It showed some little kids being brats...guess i was too busy listening to watch it very closely!! haha

This is really good and could expose a lot of Elvis music (known & unknown) out there to the masses. You cant beat TV for exposure. I've seen the Nissan cmmercial with 'Devil' twice already. It really catches your attention. This is something the Colonel would never allow, getting Elvis music into movies (think American Grafitti!) and TV. Another wonderful business decision by him!

There's an exhibit at Graceland where they show various Elvis themed commercials. It's amazing. There's one where they use the footage from Aloha where Elvis is introducing the band, but instead of the band members being on stage, Elvis is accompanied by other famous musicians like Marvin Gaye, and Keith Moon on the drums. I think the commercial was for a Rock radio station. The blending of the footage was seamless. It was very cool. Another commercial shows a gas station attendant working late at night. He is an Elvis fanatic, and guess who pulls in to gas up his car? The guy pulls out his camera to snap a picture, only to discover the battery has died. Elvis drives away before he can change the battery. These commercials are a testament to Elvis and how he is woven into our world society. I think that Elvis will remain a force for years to come, and that makes me glad.

and dgirl you are so right about that , because the song entered the charts in Ireland read this : 'Pocketful Of Rainbows' Enters Irish Top 50: An amazing chart entry for this new millenium! The song 'Pocketful Of Rainbows' is a new entry at #39 on this weeks Irish Top 50. No doubt because of its use in a TV commercial for the Irish lottery.
