I Think that It's a very good news for the fans Clubs that she Leaves. She's one of the too many people at EPE who "works" only on the name of Elvis Presley and nothing Else, what else could she do ? Thanks to leave !!

It's hard to imagine that murthy's response would make sene even in his native tongue, but one has to assume there's some sort of language barrier here.

Patsy Andersen has been a very special friend for many, many years and will be missed. She, in fact, was a tour guide on the very first tour of Graceland Mansion that I made in June, 1982. What wonderful memories that special day as I entered the Mansion for the tour. Patsy was the tour guide, and then later became a key person in Graceland management and EPE. She has done a fantastic job! The best of luck, Patsy, in your new career. And, may you enjoy happiness, health, prosperity, and blessings in your life. You are a very special lady. We will sure miss you!

I am sad that Patsy is leaving EPE. She has been an integral part of Graceland management. On the few occassions that I had with her, she was alway's upbeat.

What are you talking about Murthy? She worked her butt off coordinating events and activites for Graceland, and was primary liaison for fans clubs, fans, and EPE.

Murthy without the dedication of the people such as patsy, graceland would be closed down and elvis' music/work wouldnt be promoted these days. and yes she made money through doing her job, why do u expect her to do it for nuthin and starve to death lol

I am sending this letter with the approval of Patsy Andersen : Please know that I would never leave for another job and not make you aware of my plans. I found out, by accident, that another manager left Graceland seven years ago and was making more than I was at present. Others contacted me and seemed to be making a lot more than me so I simply asked that the fan relations manager should be making on the level of other managers. Jack and Debbie refused which opened my eyes that they didn't consider Fan Relations or the fans apparently as important as other departments. You all are just the best and I love each and everyone of you. Thanks for all the support and be assured, that the raise wasn't what I was after, it was to know what they really considered important at Graceland and now I know. Please stand together so you can be counted. Love ya, Patsy

Well Gang, After a 3 and a half hour talk with Patsy, I am ready to tell you the story, and this is not rumor, it is fact. I have read all the messages that you have written to Patsy, and have printed all of them to send to her. She wants to thank you all for the kind words you have written, but she no longer has access to this site, (I probably wont either after Monday LOL) Once again, if you have any messages, please email them to me and I will forward them on to her. Patsy also said that if she would have had the time, she would have written herself and told you why she is no longer at EPE. Now for the story, recently Patsy had found out from past employees, that she was making about 20 thousand dollars less than half the employees working there, including newer people. She went to Jack and Debby and requested a raise to at least be at the level of the other employees, and they had until Friday April 30th. Well I'm sure you know what their answer was. Patsy worked for EPE for over 22 years, and worked hundreds of hours that she was not paid for, because she was dedicated to us, and of course for Elvis. She is, and was the only true Elvis fan that work for EPE, and now that she is gone, EPE will never be the same. The "HEART", of EPE is gone, but she will never be forgoten, by us, and soon EPE will know this too. They dont know, just how much Patsy did for EPE and by the way, I do not believe that Lisa or Priscilla know that Patsy is gone. So to make a long story short, The reason that Patsy is no longer, is money and the desision of Jack and Debby Mike Keating, President of the Elvis Chicago Style Fan Club

GRACELAND needs to run,not walk, and get Patsy to come back. She was a money maker for them. She had class and the fans loved her. I only saw her once but she had everyone talking about how great Elvis was. She needs a raise for all the work she did. All the Elvis fans need to send letters to Graceland and voice their feelings about how they wouldn't give her a raise.

I wanted tell you that I'm not upset her leaving! My first meeting with her was not a nice. Patsy Andersen half-year ignored our e-mails and in her first e-mail to us she was warned our fan club. But in spite of all our e-mails recently (March 30, 2004) Patsy Andersen officially registered "Lucy de Barbin fan club". More detailed you'll find on our fan site. president Elvis Fans from Russia

Patsy Andersen is the sweetest person I have ever met. NO ONE is a bigger Elvis fan than Patsy. She worked tirelessly to promote Elvis events and fan clubs. I have personally seen her work countless hours with virtually no sleep because she cared so much about the events and the memory of Elvis. You can not find a more genuine and caring person. Patsy will be missed more than EPE can imagine. Maybe they will realize that they made a HUGE mistake! We ALL love you Patsy!!!
