Paradise,Hawaiian Style as a movie is not very good. But as a Soundtrack CD, it is Terrific! Some good songs here and well sung. THIS IS MY HEAVEN and DRUMS OF THE ISLAND are both excellent. Elvis really enjoyed himself singing IT'S A DOG'S LIFE -I hope that laughing version is included here.

superb series both in content and packaging. perhaps more studio chat could have been included in some cases. we know that Elvis was not happy in the studio when recording sound tracks, thats no secret. Therefore studio chat shouldn't be edited to avoid such feelings coming through (or that a job for the bootleggers..?). I hope a 7" version for TICKLE ME will be released. Perhaps the vinyl oundtrack released a couple of years ago could be re-released in the FTD series?
