Shame on Graceland! To have this album in the archives means it should have remained in the archives. I'll never understand why they would sell something so terribly personal to Elvis when it's his possessions they are supposed to be protecting. The more I learn about EPE, the less respect I have for them!

I know for a fact that Graceland has one of these with "Mr. & Mrs. Elvis Presley" on the front where this one says "Mr. & Mrs. Vernon Presley", so this is NOT Elvis's wedding album, but rather Vernon's copy. Still a great piece, though.

why e.p.e. would sell it to anyone in the first place boggles the mind, my opinion is that ELVIS will truely be history in five yr's. the way the media and even the oldie's radio stations attack him in my part of the world, CANADA is sickening. and i totally agree with you ruthie.

This is something that should never ever be on Ebay. It's truly disturbing EPE would allow this. That being said, I wish I could afford it. A truly magnificent piece.

i note that this from the Colonel to Vernon and Dee Presley usually when a wedding album is made there are 3 albums 1 to the bride and groom 2 to the brides parents, and 3 to the grooms parents, so the original and most important one is most likely in the hands of the Presleys. It may be called an original but it would be a waterd down version since the bride and groom have the large size album.

The fact that this was given by the Colonel in 1968 i do believe it was the same year that he was seen giving Ice to the polar bears at the north pole, he was very generous person Mr 50 percent
