No FTD Upgrade For Comeback Special

On a question from the Elvis Information website on a possible upgrade of the "'68 Comeback Special" in the Follow That Dream Classic Album Series Ernst Jørgensen responded: "There are no firm decisions except that no FTD version of the "68 Comeback Album" is in the planning for the next 12 months (we never plan more than 12 months ahead). I think "The Complete Comeback Special 68 box" is nice, while obviously aimed at a broader audience than the Elvis collectors. And it is great value for money for those fans who - believe it or not - did not buy the earlier "Tiger Man" and "Memories" release."

I have enough 68 special stuff, they cant even get the songs in the correct order? I love the hard hitting questions that people ask ernest, how about a questions such as why do you have no real release dates for your projects, why do you give more detail to some projects and not others, why does the sound vary on your releases, why not use the same person who knows how to mix a cd,why do you release the same outtakes when your suppose to be a collectors label with a here it comes. its here ,it gone theme!

The statement from Ernst says there are no plans for an FTD upgrade in the next 12 months. That doesn't surprise me. That doesn't mean there will NEVER be an upgrade. If they do issue an upgrade at some point I will buy it. If I could just buy disc 1 from this "new" set I would. It's all I'm interested in. BTW: Does disc one (the original album) contain the dialogue in the proper places or is it just the songs?

actually on the new box set there is non of the production numbers as they are on "let yourself go" by ftd. it wouldve been nice to have everyhting and i mean everything in one box, another missed oppurtunity. oh well.

I guess that nobody needs an upgrade album from FTD of "The Comeback Special" because there will be nothing new. BMG released everything about these recordings.
