Would have been great, to have full and SB versions of RIU and ICH (guess there is only one audience recording of ICH). Or am I wrong? Has there surfaced a nearly complete version of RIU? Would like to hear it. Don't know too much about that certain Vegas season. But he did some real gems including the impromptu version of YTRIL from March 22. One of my favourite songs of EP. Although he never did a proper studio version. I recently sang it to a bride and a groon at their weeding...

Call me stupid if you like but all these abbreviations drive me crazy sometimes! It took me quite a while to figure out what RIU and ICH mean (I finally did), but I still don't know what YTRIL and "(exc.)" stand for. Go ahead and illuminate me!

EJF, you're not stupid. Do like me. Give it up.

EJF, no intention for annoying anyone here. Just "copied" what other folk used to do lately. Sorry. YTRIL = You're The Reason I'm Living. I also struggled with that. English isn't even my native language...;-) So call it an attempt in "intercultural communication"...Your words are appreciated. Natha's as well. Next time without abbreviations. As an amateur photographer (I am much more in to that than in any type of music today) you read an awful lot of these, while browsing the forums...Greetings. Peter in Switzerland.

EJF, in addition to the previous illuminating post, "exc." stands for excerpt, which could mean anything from Elvis singing a line from the song in question to him pronouncing the song title in a musical way.

Thanks to all those who did "illuminate me". For a minute I thought "exc" meant "excellent" :) Like sitdown revamped English is neither my native language (I am from Malta), although you might say it IS our second language. But those abbrev. are Mobile language, or the language of the Mobile generation! Anyway, LLTH (That's "Long Live The King")!!! :D

An abreviation should be obvious to the reader, if it isnt it should be written in full and then the abbreviation put beside it in brackets, if you want to use the abbreviation subsequently. To slap in an abbreviation without explanation is cras and I am sure some people do it 1) to try and show off in some way and or 2) because they are so darn lazy , in which case you shouldn't be posting in the forum because you lose the point you are trying to make. OK, in the instance of RIU and ICA you only had to look at the track listing to work it out, but why should you. YTRIL was just plucked out of the air though. Remember, you post on here for the benefit of other readers, not yourself! Back to the CD, it's adience so not for me, I don't care how good the quality is I just hate listening to the recorders voices and comments and their applause into the mic. Pass!

Another audience live cd? what's the deal with these bootleggers? isnt there anything out there in a better sound quality? all these "new' bootleggers do is take some old concerts and 'boost' them with "better" sound....ofcourse the artwork is much better than the old bootlegs we already know or have

Anybody heard of an announced release called "Amore Elvis" that contains the same show plus the dinner show from the same day?
Boxcar wrote on August 06, 2012
Oh, I found it. Straight Arrow is in fact releasing the two complete shows from that day. Bad planning Mr. Bootleggers.

Great release...if the quality is allright...?! Why couldn't FTD or Sony/RCA have released such material ? Ernst lets the cheese on his smorebrot be eaten away by bootleggers... Why ? We want more of those great unpublished soundboard shows from Vegas + Tahoe ! Also from great Concerts he has given in Atlanta, Nashville etc. P l e a s e Ernst !
