New Year, New QuickPoll

There's still a big gap between fans considering remixes, our latest quickpoll gave one of the most devided quickpoll results we ever had: 70% thinks it's good for Elvis, while not less than 30% thinks differently. Let's see what the mix brings Elvis when it is available

Now the new one: we are really curious about it: "I'm already used to the new ElvisNews look and actually like it". On our portal you can cast your vote.

It did take a little getting used to, but that isn't a big deal. I was able to vote without any problems whatsoever. Whatever look you choose, I really enjoy the format of your website. I call it my Elvis Newspaper. I can get all the relevant news in minutes without having to read through a bunch of stuff that doesn't interest me. What else can a guy ask for? Keep up the great work.

Natha, that might be a bug, that must have been there for years, since we didn't change anything there. We will correct (and test) it asap! After voting it is gone until the next quickpoll.

Well, that's why I don't like the new site. After sending my humble opinion I returned to the home page and there it was! Before voting I repeated the action. Again I got no radio buttom at first log in. Only after going to quick poll item and then (not returning but through the menu) to home. There it was. Why is that? Anyone has this too?

Although I like the presentation of the news (no extras indeed) I still don't like the nw look.
Also - though I am logged in - I cannot find a radio button to vote. Where is it? Not at my home page. So if I can vote it will be no.

I like it, the hardest part for me to get used to was the bright white background but that's over now. it's good and keep it going.

I like the new layout. Less distractions. I don't know how we got on the subject of remixes, but recently I had the opportunity of hearing a whole cd of remixes. I was impressed. The new music actually enhanced the songs without taking away from Elvis' voice. I think it's a good way to go if done properly.

About the remixes, that's just a matter of personal taste. Regarding Elvis legacy- we know Elvis was kind of specific and demanding about the mixing of his material. So I don't feel these kind of remixes should be regarded asa tribute/legacy to his musical inheritage. Nice, although commercial, way to make these oldies appealing to a 'new' public. But a small step to bring Elvis his music closer to an current music public that hardly understand music at all..

Quote: "Let's see what the mix brings Elvis when it is available", end of quote. Can somebody give me an update when the single will be available in the shops? (For instance in The Netherlands where I am from). I would love to buy a copy in a shop (...and not via iTunes...), but I cannot find it here as it is not being sold in the stores. The press-release said it would be available from December 10 in certain European countries (among The Netherlands!), but has this really been the case!? Please react!
