Three new issues of European fanclubs arrived at our headquarters.
From France Elvis My Happiness - not less than 80 pages -brings those that handle the language a lot of reading pleasure. Besides the usuals like news and reviews the highlights of this issue are interviews with Scotty Moore and Mike Stoller and in depth articles on That's The Way It Is and Hank Snow.
Unfortunately scrambled in the mail the Italian A Proposito di Elvis brought us an article about "Disgraceland" by Sid Shaw. We do not understand much of the language, but we can guess it's not an positive article about EPE. Furthermore you can find an interview with Julie Mundy, an article about Speedway and a review of The Impossible Dream.
Elvis Quarterly, the magazine of the Belgian UEPS brings some great but well known color shots. Content wise you find an article about the "Memphis Boys" (American Sound Studio Sessions), who will appear on the UEPS convention later this year. Because of the recent DVD releases the magazine contains articles about the "Aloha" and "Comeback" specials.
