A new DVD release coming soon is "Elvis: The Definitive Elvis 25th Anniversary", scheduled for release on July 16th. August 16th, 2002 will mark the 25th Anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, the most celebrated entertainer of the twentieth century. Elvis's popularity is unrivaled in the history of show business. The Producers of the series have retained Joe Esposito as Executive Consultant. Joe spent nearly twenty years with Elvis, from 1059 to 1977, as his road manager, confidant and most importantly, his friend. He met Elvis in the army, was best man at his wedding and was there when he died, trying to revive him. The programming will consist of film clips, home movies, photos, and recently produced location footage of Elvis' homes in Los Angeles, Palm Springs and Memphis. In addition to Joe, over 200 people were interviewed including some of the biggest names in the film and recording industries. These interviews promise to make "The Definitive Elvis" the greatest telling of the life and career of the King of Rock'n' Roll. He is an evergreen who continues to attract millions of fans around the world, many of whom weren't even born during his lifetime.
