I don't see any reason why Gribz' idea wouldn't be taken forward - it's already been done once with the Spring Tours FTD.

Although, I've been vocal about the amount of material released by FTD, I do like many of the covers chosen. Maybe they can put together a 2 hour concert with all of the best soundboard material on 1 album. They can do this for each year. i.e 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77.. I think that might be a good idea. Put the best version of a song from each year on the CD. Review all of the best material from each year from 10 or so soundboards and put it out, on 1 CD. What do you think of that? Let new people hear Elvis at his best. Great way to expand and grow the Elvis culture.

I have brought this up before and got no responses from anybody but I will mention it again. I have seen this particular concert on Video, 8mm footage the Feb 15, 1973 Dinner show. its not a bad show but very strange when Elvis just says Im sorry Ladies and Gentleman and hands the MIKE to Charlie Hodge and walks off. when he returns he says he's had the flu.. so we do have the concert on audio and some film footage. what I would like to suggest is taking the film footage. which is not the best picture quality and making it a true life cartoon. it would be very easy these days to do this but would cost money. I would prefer it would be an excellent soundboard like On Stage in Memphis over a audience recording like Sweet Sweet Spirit but I would just love this to someday happen. what does anyone else think about this??
