Nashville To Mark Presley Anniversary

July 19, 2003 | Other
The anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing is approaching, and Nashville is doing its part to commemorate the somber occasion. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will honor the king of Rock and Roll's legacy with a series of special events in August, including a Q&A session with Alanna Nash, author of the new book "The Colonel: The Extraordinary Story of Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis Presley."

Also on the agenda are tours of the historic RCA Studio B, where Presley recorded many of his hits, including "It's Now or Never" and "Are You Lonesome Tonight."
