Warner still don't get it. What we want is ELVIS ON TOUR!! Not a rehash of the same old films every true Elvis fan has already.
agreed - how do these keep selling and making profits? everyone has them a million times over by now.
Not everyone has them a millon times over. Read what elviskid80 has to say below.
Lyle Ray - just because someone bought them doesnt mean they never owned them before. Hard to believe an Elvis fan never owned Jailhouse Rock before. You know Elvis fans are prone to buy any new release under a new cover even if they have it already. More effort should be made into getting Elvis On Tour out instead of these countless re-issues.
Steve v i dont just buy elvis things to have them i only bought them because i didnt have any of them on dvd so before you judge you should make sure what your talknig no offense but chill and i have elvis on tour on dvd already
I know or knew many fans who buy things they already owned just because of new packaging.
I didnt say you did that but meant fans in general do that. By the way, you didnt have Jailhouse Rock on DVD before but you have Elvis On Tour on DVD?
So these are being reissued. I don't see the problem. If you're a fan who doesn't have these, buy them if you wish. If you have them and want to buy them again because these have different covers, feel free. Better to have them available than not.
Classics (snicker) indeed. Casablanca, Citizen Cain are true classics. Elvis a few good films Jailhouse Rock, King Creole & Viva Las Vegas, but they are not classics for sure.
I don't have jailhouse rock on DVD either, Steve. As a matter of fact I do not own any of the movies. They are simply completely uninteresting. I've got the "real" Elvis DVDs (68 comeback, aloha, etc, in several versions even). The day I buy Elvis movies is the day they release them in HD with restored picture and sound plus bonus material. Also, believe it or not but there's still the new Elvis fan now and then, guys who are just starting to build their collections.
