Several magazines ended up in our mailbox recently. Here is an overview.
From the north we got the last issue of 2012 of The King, by the official fanclub of Finland. It has part 8 of the series Elvis stories, a look at the people behind the magazine, the connection between Elvis and Willie Nelson, among other articles. The regulars like news, letters and reviews are present too.
From the south we got #81 of Club Elvis, the magazine by the OEPFC of Spain. This issue has a report of their Memphis trip last August, a review of a show by the TCB Band with Dennis Jale and all regulars.
From somewhat in the middle is the French My Happiness. This 82nd issue brings an article on the 40th anniversary of the MSG shows, Elvis the Pianoman, an interview with Tony Brown and of course the usual extensive news and reviews part of the magazine.
The Elvis Mag
From the Isles, Essential Elvis’ 80th issue has an interview with Bill Wallace. EE looks into Elvis’ fascination for guns, his relation with Mohammed Ali, the Aloha anniversary and has an interview with Sandie Rigsby. Of course all regulars are also in EE.
