Maxine Brown of "The Browns" who traveled with and was a good friend of Elvis, and who just finished her book "Looking Back To See" (which is the title of one of their hits in the early days of Country and Rockabilly), suffered a stroke last Tuesday (April 19th.). It has affected her vision seriously.

I wish a speedy recovery to Maxine. I am currently reading her book and it's an incredible story of her journey through country music. It's excellent reading, especially her comments on Elvis.
