Hmmm....I count only 29 in the frame.

This looks nice. I wonder how much it will sell for? The reason there are only 29 sleeves is because Hound Dog and Don't be Cruel were on the same 45.

I rarely get excited by these type of framed presentations but this looks nice. I have always loved the artwork that was used on the US single releases, they capture the time period perfectly. We UK fans always longed to have such covers on our singles, which were released in the plain standard RCA sleeves.

This LOOKS nice indeed, but is it worth it's price ? The 29 sleeves are photocopies of the originals, and the gold-coloured discs are made of cardboard. That's the info I read on another Elvis-site. Price : 82 euro ( +/- 107 $) ( +/- 68 £) at today's exchange-rate. To each his own, but not my cup of tea. Always El.

What's this negativity,Benny Scott? Shame on you!:) If you don't like it,don't buy it.

"Negativity" Geertje ? "Shame on me" for just reporting what I read on another site and ask myself a question??? Should I be ASHAMED for that ??? Jesus , how childish one can be ! Seen the question mark in my posting , wondering if it's worth it's price ? Need a pair of glasses ? Didn't you see or read " to each his own " ??? That means I have no problem at all with people buying this object. Don't repeat in other words what I already wrote : " not my cup of tea" by writing "if you don't like it,don't buy it". It's not your first posting on this site bashing others.A couple of members of this site seem to enjoy grabbing every possibility to be REALLY negative on almost everything. Grow up kid, but at your age you still have time. And by the way : giving the price in Euro, USD and £ I hope it answers Lou A's question.Always El.

The biggest problem with this site is that Benny gives his opinion & then gets slammed for it. There's nothing negative about Benny's comment. He even starts out by saying the item looks nice. He further states to each his own when considering buying the item. So why in the world does he get slammed? This site would be rather boring if just positive comments were posted.

Every product isn't for everybody. Someone questioning is it worth the money is now deemed as negative? Geez. If you cant give an opinion anymore, there is no sense in any kind of dialog here. Most products arent worth the money in my opinion as many are way overpriced(FTD books/cd, Tunzi, etc) . By the way, this is not my cup of tea either!
Tony C wrote on January 13, 2011
The comments made about Benny are very unfair, he is one of the most even handed people here and his comments always add to the discussion, unlike others who slam everything.

theoldscudder,Steve V, Tony C, thanks for the reactions ! It's great knowing there are many members on this site with whom it's nice and good to share views and opinions in a friendly way, and you guys are sure part of them ! Always El.

Of course the picture sleeves are replica copies. You expected originals? The "Gold" records are cardboard. What were you expecting? Original 45s sprayed with gold paint? All of that would have made it prohibitively expensive. i just might purchase this. The purchase price is about $110.00 (USD).

Aviod being negative? Erm... ok... this product is positively overpriced crap. There, I used the word positive.
benny scott wrote on January 14, 2011
Jerry, I didn't expect anything, just REPORTING the description of this article on another Elvissite. Once again : like I wrote already : it looks nice, so for those who like it : enjoy ! But having the right to give my opinion : I think it's overpriced.( just like so many other stuff Steve V correctly stated) Always El.

The word "stunning" unfortunately lost its impact years ago from overuse and is now applied to anything that is reasonably good - which, maybe, this 'collectible' is. "Stunning", in this context, used to mean something that halted you in your stride by its sheer beauty, originality or uniqueness. In a famous parody of an athletics commentary (many years ago), the commentator went into a panic because he had run out of superlatives and the race still had a couple of hundred metres to run.

How many items in the memorbillia side of Elvis always has the 'Limited Edition' tag put to it and 'every fan will won't one' scenario....for me these items show good intentions but are really just another over-priced.I am more of a serious collector of all things in the music and audio visual side of Elvis presley so will pass on this item and put my hard earned cash into something of greater importance to me. benny scott always enjoy your comments and a few others who are not into ti for tac roundres with certain other so called fans. p.s: the thing we cannot mention???....fantastic piece of work.......now that is worth all the money i paid.

The term Limited Edition stopped having meaning to me around 1985!

drjohncarpenter0117:that's how I see it too, already looking forward for the 3rd book of "Elvis Files! Good intentions indeed, can understand fans who want this, nothing wrong with it, but the 3rd book of Elvis files will give me more pleasure and will cost less Brian : I think you have a point ! Have a nice weekend, all of you. Always El.
