The following appeared on the Billboard charts.

- 'It's Christmas Time' drops from 60 to 64 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart for w/e 1st December, 2012 with sales of 8456 units. Total sales to date: 1,416,367 units. It also drops from 3 to 5 on the Catalog Album Chart but remains at 9 on the Holiday Album Chart.

- 'The Classic Christmas Album' jumps from 174 to 152 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and from 26 to 22 on the Country Album Chart with sales of 4,007 units. Total sales to date: 9026 units. It also jumps from 142 to 126 on the Top Current Album Chart (top 200 minus catalog albums) and is on Holiday Album Chart at 33.

- 'Blue Christmas' jumps from 19 to 17 on the Holiday Songs Chart.

- 'Prince From Another Planet' debuts on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at 187 and 148 on the Top Current Album Chart (Top 200 minus catalog albums) with sales of 3423 units.

'It's Christmas Time' drops from 64 to 80 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart for w/e 8th December, 2012 with sales of 15,187 units. Total sales to date: 1,431,554 units. It also drops from 5 to 11 on the Catalog Album Chart and from 14 to 15 on the Holiday Album Chart.

'The Classic Christmas Album' drops from 152 to 159 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart with sales of 8,246 units. Total sales to date: 17,272 units. It also remains at 22 on the Country Album Chart and rises from 126 to 115 on the Current Album Chart (Top 200 minus catalog albums).

'Blue Christmas' jumps from 17 to 15 on the Holiday Songs Chart and re-enters at 22 on the Holiday Airplay Chart.

I thought that they would release this as a 2 cd set on the legacy line also, so It would be part of their catalog in the future.

Why is Sony doing only runs of 5000? Isnt this considered a major release by them? I was only joking but it sounds like they are willing to make a very small profit on an Elvis release , then call it a day.

In it's second week of release, PFAP has dropped out of the UK Top 100 album charts. It must be remembered that it had a print run of 5000. I would not be surprised if each country had a 5000 print run, including the U.S.A. SONY considered that it was too expensive for them to push to retail with a major marketing campaign. Therefore it was not stocked by the major retailers e.g the supermarkets who now only stock TV promoted albums and the latest 'in thing' ones. Short of a major film along the lines of the 'Johnny Cash' biopic to appeal to the general public en masse then I feel SONY will continue with their present policy of releasing top quality product, albeit usually expensive, e.g. YMWTBB and ABFT with limited print runs aimed specifically at fans. It is now five years since Elvis had a number one album in the UK with 'The King'. A new 'Duets' album is still being considered and this could be a big seller IF Sony decided to go ahead with it and give it MAJOR TV promotion.

Sony does not care about chart placings. They care about making money. As long as ELVIS is making them money they will never push for him to have another number one single or album.

Does anyone know how they count the sale, is it all the different releases together (the CD + DVD, The 2 CD pack and the LPs), or are the counted in 3 groups ? I bought mine in the danish fan club Elvis Unlimited for around 23 euros. The sale will probably increase during christmas as this would be a great christmas present for every fan. Great to see that the christmas albums continue to sell, I hope that all of you will consider to give one of them as a present to the host/hostess when you go to christmas parties, as this would be a good way to open peoples eyes (ears)to the king. Does anyone know the sales numbers right now for the different christmas albums, in Amerika, U.K. or other places ?

The first week sales for PFAP were around 2300 copies in the UK.

These are the sales in the USA. What about the European sales? I got my copy from a general website and received mine on the very day of its release (friday) and at a price of 20 euro including P&P!, while the fanclubs here in the Benelux could only deliver after monday. So I had the great fortune to enjoy it the whole weekend.

Can anyone shed some light into the sales figures? I mean, I have heard that there are only 5,000 copies pressed by FTD for Europe! This thing sold out at my local Elvis dealer (his next patch of CDs will arrive in a weeks time), and at the mega CD and Record fair only one copy could be found at a fanclub store. This thing sells like hot cakes! (Okay, fair enough: There were some more at another notorious Dutch Fanclub, but this guy had the nerve to try to sell it for 30 euros while everybody else offered it for the usual price of 20 euros!). I bought my copy at Holland's largest electronics store. It was the last one...! How many are available in The States?

I would have to say incredibly disappointing sales for The Prince from Another Planet. What does everyone else think?
