Lamar Fike In Hospital

October 26, 2010 | People

Friday evening, 22 Oct 2010, Lamar Fike was transferred for a two Week Rehab Stay, as he was admitted eight days earlier to Arlington Memorial Hospital by his Cardiologist for almost complete dehydration which was leading to his kidney's shutting sown, a most serious situation to say the very least. Lamar worked for Elvis for many years, and lived at Graceland. We wish him a quick recovery.

I hope he gets his health soon.

Drink much more water,Lamar, and eat much less! Then there won't be any problem. Good luck to you.

I hope he can recover from this, he never did look as if he was in the best of health and it always surprised me that he did not have serious health problems. Many fans do not like his sometimes outspoken views, but I have always found his comments and stories about Elvis very interesting. Hopefully the medical advice offered below will be passed onto the Doctors caring for him, I'm sure they would welcome such comments!

I'm sorry to hear Lamar's been ill, but I just read on Essential Elvis website that he is FINE, and he's been released to go home.

Good to hear the positive update, thanks for that.

It's good to know that you took my advice,Lamar. Avoid eating junk food in the future, too and you'll be as slim as Audrey Hepburn!:)
