John Wilkinson Visits Bad Nauheim

January 08, 2003 | People
Bad Nauheim, Elvis's "European hometown" during his army days, is ready for the Big Anniversary Week. Special guest this year is former TCB- rhythm guitarist John Wilkinson. On Elvis's birthday, John attends the (sold out) Birthday Party of the Swiss fanclub.

But the highlight of his stay in Europe is set for Saturday, January 11th when "The young man who makes records for RCA" hosts a special show for the fans in the Dolce am Kurpark-theater in the center of Bad Nauheim. Opening act that evening is Oliver Steinhoff with his live band, while John takes questions from the audience and picks a few of his favorite Elvis songs with the band. Souvenir and CD-booths are open all night.

Tickets for the Elvis Tribute Show featuring John Wilkinson are 16,50 to 28 euro. Ticket Hotline: 0049/60.32.92.99.22, or elvisshowfanclub@tiscalinet.ch.
