Elvismatters got some not-so-good news from our dear friend John Wilkinson this week. John sent them an email with an update on his medical situation. Yesterday, he spent some time at the doctor’s office but he returned home that same afternoon. As soon as we have more, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, get well soon, Johnny!

Here's the email ElvisMatters got from John Wilkinson's wife Terry. It seems that the situation is much better than we had feared. But please keep John in your prayers!
Hello Peter, Thank you Thank you for all your prayers, We just got back from the chemo doctor, its sounds pretty good to me, we are seeing the radiation doc tomorrow Sat and get the info we need, John will be getting his chemo thru the pump at home and we will be starting in a couple weeks on the radiation, it will be 5 days a week directly at the spot where the cancer is located, the doc laughed when we asked about Johns hair, the chemo will be less than he had before and the doc feels that the combo of both for 5 weeks will get rid of this. I am relieved somewhat and know that the power of prayer goes along way, please continue to keep us in your prayers and Thank all of you for your caring.

John and his wife Terry will go in Monday to get the markers on his body that will tell the doctors where to aim, and in a week and 1/2 or 2 weeks it will start. It will only take 1/2 hour daily for 7 to 8 weeks. John's doctor feels that she will be able to get rid of the cancer and radiate any other area that may have a chance of the Cancer to spread. This should take care of it, and the best part is that he will not loose his hair. The news from the doctor really gave John a positive feeling. Again, he wants to thank everybody for your prayers. He WILL get through all this.
