Joe Guercio Did NOT Pass Away

Fortunately the first part of this update turned out to be false.

Joe Guercio, Elvis' long-time conductor and musical director, died today. He was hospitalised recently after a fall and sadly died due to complications. Joe Guercio has enjoyed a prolific career, but is best known and admired for his work with Elvis. He was musical director and conductor for Elvis' concert shows from the summer of 1970 to the summer of 1977 and Elvis' final performance.

Henrik Knudsen was told by Ronnie Tutt's wife Donna that Joe is still among us.

He is never gonna pass away cause he's immortalised on all the expensive Ftd's never mind the 70's ablums that us regular fans have to tolerate,, I love the semi opera that is '77, 'elvis in concert' man! That boy sure treated the Sun Classics with respect. What's great about not enjoying Xmas, which I did, is that a star was born on Jesus' sandal heels, Happy Belated Birthday Elvis Love!! A great man once said, "love is all ya need". Elvis Man, you taught us that before The Beatles!!
