Good news. However, discounting the upcoming 'Elvis In Concert' I have often wondered why all the appearances by the TCB Band members appear to be in the Netherlands and Belgium? As the UK is known to be one of the most popular countries for Elvis it seems strange that their appearances there are few and far between.

True, but overall my premise stands. Perhaps the UK does not have the Fan Organisation of the Netherlands to organize such events.

I guess you hit the nail right on the spot Brian! But it has been a while since this Dutch Fanclub Organisation evolved. Belgium and Holland joined forces and their organization is truly amazing. In a short period of time they could generate a vast following. This enabled them to book the TCB-band and many other Elvis-related musicians and break even because the shows always sell out . Not many organizers will take this financial risk. Personally speaking I think it is a shame that the UK cannot enjoy the shows that we have in Holland and Belgium. Because in my humble opinion world's best Elvisfans (and largest following of fans) is in England. No doubt about that!

Hi Brian, Let me set the record straight on a couple of things: this is not a fanclub initiative. De boys and girls in the band and myself are huge fans of Mr. Burton. This tour will be in his honour. We’ll play some Elvis-stuff for sure (Susan When She Tried for instance), but our main focus will be on all the other legendary music Mr. Burton recorded with other amazing artists such as Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell. You name it. And we are not only playing in the Netherlands and Belgium. When all the right people have seen and signed the right papers, we’ll be doing Luxembourg, Germany, France and Switzerland as well. Get us a gig and we’ll play in the UK!!! :-) And yes, this is a HUGE financial risk. But it’s a risk we’re willing to take. Anyway, I hope to see some of you out there, because all of us –including Mr. Burton- are really looking forward to this adventure! Have a great day everyone!
