can some explain the story about this concert and why he left the stage and why is suspicious minds incomplete?
mature_elvis_fan75 wrote on June 13, 2007
Maybe he left the stage cause it suddenly came to mind that he was bored, and should not be playing vegas anymore, and backstage the colenel said come on boy u gotta pay my bills,so he went back on stage! just speculation on my part!

These....... used the same incomplete tape again. Now we have it on CDR (for years) and on two different imports that were released within two weeks. Please, please, please, skip this piece of junk.

If you want the live rendition of the song "It's a matter of time", it is available on the old Fort Baxter release "It's a matter of time", although the rest of THAT CD has since been released on another bootleg in improved sound quality!!

The cover looks like if Elvis could collapse any moment, now wonder he left the stage during the show..

Jerome: This photo have NOTHING TO DO with the show on CD and it is NOT from Aug. 73. It is from June 73 tour. Pls I do not think Elvis left the stage at all. There is 30 seconds (!) short instrumental but think ELvis WAS on stage. Maybe he was backstage for some 20 seconds.

this e-mail is an "asking for information "-one. the import CDs "It's a matter of time" and "summer festival" seem to be the same concert. In comments about these releases I read " Crap/Sh...t/ Rip off/Not worth a penny/etc... Can somebody pls explain if those negative comments concern the audio-quality ? I know we're talking here about " audience recordings ", but some audience-recordings sound better than other audience-recordings. What about the sound-quality of these (same ) CDs (although on different labels). Thanks in advance for your help and/of information.

As a matter of fact, I bought this import cd yesterday. It's not so bad at all. The overall sound is comparable to other audience releases from this vegas season. I can recommend it to you Benny, track it down if you can. I've heard a lot worse than this. For instance: a night in Baltimore. The show has a spectaculair start, Elvis is Kicking a** from the start of the show.
