United Cerebral Palsy announce the 24th annual Elvis Presley International 5K Run and Fun Walk. It’s scheduled for Saturday, August 12th at 8:00 a.m. at Graceland. The race will coincide with Elvis Tribute Week.

Graceland will once again serve as the backdrop as more than 3,000 runners race to support UCP’s programs and services for children and adults with all types of disabilities. Cash prizes and awards will be presented in all age categories. Walkers, wheelchairs and runners with disabilities also join in the fun in their own categories. The post race party at Graceland Pavilion, featuring entertainment from “The Aims Gang” will highlight the event. Most importantly the runners will draw attention to the needs of people with disabilities. Proceeds from the race will benefit UCP of the Mid-South. The mission of UCP is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with all types of disabilities. Race registration is $20.00 in advance or $25.00 on the day of the event. Your race T-shirt and number are included in the packet along with special coupons from local businesses.
