It is still my favorite because it is the perfect compilation for this material, not too much of it, not too little of it. I'm not into countless outtakes and incomplete takes and studio chatter. I like this because it has none of that, just different takes of great songs. This is how FTD started out and has somehow lost its way.

I guess because it tops most people's list? :-) It's also high on mine, since it is still a great compilation... most others are too complete, which I appreciate, but this one is just perfect.

Though "Crown Jewls" contains cream material, it is bothering me that this release has stayed on the top of this list for ages. By now that we have several releases with this material in better sound quality. So why????
