Despite a remark from Ernst Jorgensen that he never said the second version of "Roustabout" would be added to the "Elvis 2nd To None" compilation a posting on the FECC message board says it will be included.
The posting:
"It has been confirmed that "I'm A Roustabout" will be the historic inclusion on "2nd To None". BMG will announce it tomorrow morning between 8am and 9am on NBC Today show. This song is the 2nd version of the song "Roustabout". Why BMG calls it "I'm A Roustabout" is anyone’s guess, but looking forward to hearing it."
On the official "2nd To None" website this news was added: "Tune in to NBC's Today Show on Friday, August 15th from 8-9AM (check your local listings) where a historic segment will air about a special song being planned for inclusion on the ELVIS 2ND TO NONE CD. Don't miss it!"
After the announcement tomorrow we'll know if this is true.
