Hope Lange Dies At 70

Actress Hope Lange, who starred in the TV series The Ghost and Mrs Muir and earned an Oscar nomination for her supporting role in the 1957 film Peyton Place, has died at the age of 70. She played "Irene Sperry", the psychologist in "Wild In The Country" (1961). Hope Lange also appeared with another Elvis co star who recently passed away, as Charles Bronson's wife in the original Death Wish movie.

very sad- a loss of a lovely lady and very talented actor. as has been stated, "WIC" certainly ranks among the very best of E's movies- the tender hotel room love scene between E and Hope is arguably his best love scene.

Wild In The Country Is my favorite Elvis movie, mainly because of the chemistry between Elvis and this beautiful, talented woman.Farewell Hope.
