I bought a few copies of this single last year, for myself and some fans overseas who wanted them, plus a few as gifts. They're nicely done, but please do note that the (physical ) singles chart (as opposed to the download chart) is but a skeleton of its former glory, so this is a pretty symbolic, promotion-oriented release. Sadly, it just doesn't mean as much anymore, in the US anyway. The sales this achieved are dwarfed by what even some of his lesser singles took in once upon a time...

There are so many not important different charts out there, including a vast majority in the Bilboard mag. Year end sales chart however says it all... -The song and the cover is really a timeless classic. -Amazing!

Great to see Elvis making inroads with with any single in the American charts these days. Would also like to know just how many copies were sold of Heartbreak Hotel to make it to the number 11 spot in this list. Also is'nt it time Elvis.com gave us some up to date figures on Elvis' sales, chart positions and awards.Sorry, I find that site vastly inferior to this one- just my opinion

I agree with Steve V, unless you listen to the other people on the list, you don't know who they are like you did back in the day. There's only 4 others on the list that I've even heard of even though I don't listen to their music. But I also HAVE to agree with Mofoca22..for a song that's over 50 years old AND for someone who's been gone since 1977..that's an amazing accomplishment..Elvis is still "Takin' Care Of Business" & he deserves it.

Awesome!! Good news indeed. This song stands the test of time. Glad to see it BACK in the sales charts in 2006 & 2007.

Strange array of artists. Not like the Billboard charts of old where you knew everyone in the top 40.

woooo hoooo elvis can still sell even with the new popular crap. and heartbreak hotel is over 50 years old lol. lets see how many songs that are on the top 20 will be popular in 50 years i bet heartbreak hotel will still be in the top while the rest of these songs fade away into oblivion
