Recently there has been a lot of speculation regarding the CD edition of "Elvis Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" on the web. The story has it that in 1986 a CD edition of the 1977 version of "Elvis Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" was produced by RCA for a mail order company in the US (AFL1 2347). But the company went broke before the CDs were delivered and the CDs remained in a storehouse since. Elvis Unlimited was the first site to show an actual copy of this CD. Probably bootleggers picked up on it because now it is widely available on eBay.
