Greatest American

Elvis made it to #8 in the top 25 of greatest americans. He was the first non politician. The winner will be either Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King, George Washington, Ronald Reagan or Abraham Lincoln.

Although I voted for Elvis, if I have to be honest with myself, I think the selection is fair with the exception of Ronald Reagan. My money is on Abraham Lincoln.

I think Elvis making it to #8 is just phenomenal being that there were some very stiff competition. I would have liked to see him higher in the ranking since I do not agree with few that made it to top 7 but I won't name names. Overall, I believe it's fair and "politically correct". The legacy of Elvis lives on. He was and always will be the King.

The eighth place was the most miserable way to give the thanks to Elvis. My father when ear the news about the greatest american places said with humor: "Is a must to put the king Tutankamon and Michael jackson for to made this poll most real"
