Following is a press release from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Washington, D.C. – The places of America are a catalog of the history, architecture and traditions that are our legacy from the past. They are also reminders of the importance of preservation in keeping that legacy alive so that we can continue to learn from it and be inspired by it. Partner Places of the National Trust for Historic Preservation invite you to experience the amazing shared diversity of our heritage by visiting the places that are among America’s greatest treasures.

The growing Partner Places program features more than 130 historic sites and museums across the United States offering authentic historic experiences, from the Susan B. Anthony House in Rochester, New York, to Casa del Herrero in Santa Barbara, California. The program was created in an effort to raise awareness about the wealth of historic experiences throughout America while offering increased benefits to National Trust Members. “National Trust members receive discounted admission to American landmarks such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple in Chicago and Greene & Greene’s Gamble House in Pasadena, California,” said Susan Neumann, director of engagement at National Trust headquarters in Washington, DC. “In return, these special places benefit from additional marketing efforts, and, we hope, increased visitation.”
