GRAVELROAD DOES IT BIG IN VEGAS !

On my way to Vegas I noticed huge billboards with Elvis, seems Gravelroad Music is packing out big this time.. I heard through the grapevine that they will be releasing the mind blowin' complete "December 13th, 1975 Midnight show". This time in an extensive package with a 28 page booklet, plus, as an extra, a limited edition of a Concert tour photo folio in the classic Vegas style of the seventies which will include new full color photos from the ’75 tours. This is a phenomenal follow-up to the “Elvis - The return of the prodigy – 1969” cd, produced with great skill and love for the man and his music.

This looks interesting, Elvis was on good form during this season.

The updated packaging sounds very interesting indeed, but it's the sound and show that really matters. I'm glad to report that both of these are very pleasing to the ears. The set was first introduced on the first release from Fort Baxter back in 1991 then along came FTDs release of the Dinner show from the same date (which was equally as enjoyable). If you are into upgrades or whether you missed the original, I'd say this one will be worth picking up.

Ah huh yes i had a release from the Grapefruit Label years and years ago that had longer + more complete introductions of the same show as Fort Baxter released slightly edited!~ Depends on how it sounds and maybe the packaging i guess. It would HAVE to be pretty phenominal to get ME to buy this show again!~

This show was released on the Yellow Dog label at one time, and I have it on CD. The unaltered sound is pretty good. If they have found a way to improve it, it will sound even better. Also, Elvis is in an excellent mood and strong voice for this performance. Of all the many live versions of How Great Thou Art one can listen to, the one on this show is my favorite. He really gives it his all! You'll be amazed when you hear it. I'll buy this CD. The enhanced packaging and excellent concert performance makes it a worthwhile purchase.

As an interior designer who's spending most of his time on computer, I can tell u that it's just photoshop sample. :) Always EL...

thank you. because i was also thinking, that sign doesn't look like the standard construction of signs on the highway. too bad. would be a nice attention getter driving from california!

Indeed the billboard is the product of a creative imagination, and nothing more. If it were a real billboard, the bootleg industry would be far more lucrative than I could have imagined! Let's hope that the news of the upcoming CD is more than just a rumor.

I came across this statement on a website justifying the release of certain box sets of DVD's (not related to Elvis) which I assume the company wanting to issue this elvis Boxset is using to justify and avoid any copyright issues: There is a section of the American copyright law known as "The Berne Act" that Clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original versions of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are NOT protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. The entire purpose of our website is to provide otherwise unavailable films or television shows to the serious collector. Interesting huh? ... and more importantly, is it true? .....anyLlegal Eagles out there?
