The VB Records import label has released a new product called "Fun Time At The Coliseum", a single CD containing an auduence recording of the complete concert at the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport on June 7, 1975 (2:30 PM). This concert was never released before as a real CD before.
According to the information we received the sound quality is good and especially Elvis' voice is clear. The show itself is really enjoable with Elvis in very good mood joking with the audience and delivering a good performance.
VB Records presents his new CD in a very attractive three panel 'premium longbook package' full of pictures from June '75, the songlist, all the information and two interesting newspaper clips regarding the concert on the CD.

This show was released earlier on cdr: Recorded live on stage in Schreveport. RCA used a couple of songs from this show for their silver box in 1980 (Joan deary). Too bad it isn't a soundboard,
then I had bought this cd. But this tour is already well documented, a lot of great soundboards already, so I can skip this one, the cdr of this show has reasonable sound to me.
VB records?? What kind of new label is this anyway?
Hopefully, the artwork inside the long box is better than the artwork on the cover. The coliseum is an eye sore, and Elvis looks like he's about ready to blow chunks!
Crude, man, Crude...! I like the idea of documenting every show and give them some credit for trying to do so. There's something fresh about the artwork.. but it's also a bit amateurish compared to Straight Arrow, 2001 and others.
I was at this show in '75. Elvis was in very good spirits and in fine voice. A very good show. He even talked a little, about being on the Hayride, in Shreveport, back in the 50s. The coliseum is an "eye sore", because it is very old. It is the same building where Elvis gave his last Hayride performance, in December, 1956. My mother saw him there, at that time. Then almost 20 years later, I got to see him, in the same building. That navy blue suit, is the suit he wore at that show. The old coliseum is still standing today. I wish Elvis was. I miss him.
Good release. I much prefer the audience recordings to the soundboards. They are far more exciting.
I heard it was a CDR.....anybody can confirm this..?
I have got already the CD-r released 13/14 years ago. The sound in the old CD is very bad. I hope this could be better...
VB is not a new label, they have released the long Digipak of Rapid City, Noisy In Nevada + others. All have been CDR.
