January 01, 2008 | Music
The Top 5 didn't change compared to last month, "Junlge Room" did survive "Elvis Is Back!"'s attack on the #1 spot and even got a bit further ahead. "I Sing All Kinds" is closing in on the Top 10. The recent releases "Pot Luck" and "Girls! Girls! Girls!" have their first votes, the first one is already getting close to the Top 40.

1 (1) The Jungle Room Sessions (2000)
2 (2) Elvis Is Back! (2005)
3 (3) Nashville Marathon (2002)
4 (4) Memphis Sessions (2001)
5 (5) Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis (2004)

Be sure to update your top 5 regularly, since your votes will disappear from the list after 18 months. Your favourites will be shown in you member profile of this site.

Dear Santa Jorgenson,'first of all i'm forever in your debt by your rich releases of unknown material. I hope to see the daylight of unknown material of albums as Good Times, Promised Land, Now, just to name some. I really hope I can enjoy some songs in the future of alternate takes of these albums (would die for Love song of the year/ honky talk angel/help me, my boy, etc.); so far grateful Ernst but I really hope these small dreams will come true. Best regards

It's an extended version of the 'Jailhouse Rock' soundtrack that I'm looking forward to. And then 'King Creole'. I'm sorry but I can't get excited about any of the albums from the '70s - far too many ballads with strings and overpowering vocal backing on them. I prefer the real, original Elvis - not the MOR entertainer he became. But that's only my opinion, guys.
