FTD: On Stage Revisited?

April 02, 2004 | Music
The July 1st, 2004 FTD release will be a CD containing rehearsals and alternate live performances from February 1970 in Las Vegas, NV. The Elvis Fan Club Of Great Britain sent an order form for this with the April FTD releases according to a posting on the FECC messageboard. Ernst Jorgensen could not confirm this when we asked him.

It mentioned the following tracks :

Proud Mary/ Sweet Caroline / Don't Cry Daddy / Kentucky Rain / It Hurts Me / The Wonder Of You / Release Me / See See Rider / Polk Salad Annie / Walk A Mile In My Shoes / I Can't Stop Lovin You / All Shook Up / In The Ghetto / Suspicious Minds / I Got A Woman / Hound Dog / Long Tall Sally / Love Me Tender / Can't Help Falling In Love.

The FTD soundtrack "Paradise Hawaiian Style" will be also released at the same time.

Did Elvis really sing ''It Hurt's Me'' in 1970 ?

Looking at the songs listed I noticed "Let It Be Me" is missing so maybe someone got their song titles mixed up.

Very good choice. Is "It Hurts Me" a rehearsal or did Elvis sing this song "Live" on stage in febr. 1970 ?

It would be nice if they put the songlisting like on a show. To make it like a complete show. If this is not an April Fools joke ;-)

Very good news. But Let it be me is missing. At least the version from a Legendary Performer vol 3. Ernst don't forget this track.
