I am really looking forward to these two CDs especially the DOUBLE TROUBLE soundtrack. This will be the FIRST TIME we are getting some really good Outtakes and Alternate Takes from Double Trouble. Plus The Soundtrack in excellent quality - wiw! Thanks Ernst Jorgenson.

Once again we Elvis kids are gonna get spoiled by the good people at FTD. Let's be thankful for the work these guys are doing in order to restore and share this material with us fans. Both releases are hereby added to my shoppinglist.

Unfortunately the tapes from summer 73 were not too good regarding sound quality. I don't mean to turn down any hopes on a good sounding "Trouble" but for all we know these recordings are not much more but better audience recordings. Still I have to admit to looking forward to having this soundboard released at last (although incomplete...). BTW: Personally I am absolutely thrilled about DT being released on 7" at last since this was the album that paved the way for me being an Elvis fan when I was no older than 5 yeras old!!! Can't wait for that one!!!

How do we get the songs Never Ending - Blue River - What Now, What Next, Where To - on a Movie. Those songs were recorded in 1963 in Nashville studios and never in the Double Trouble movie of 1966.Those above mentioned songs should have been placed on the Long Lonely Highway release. Looks like RCA-BMG, EPE, Ernest Jorgensen, and anybody that has anything to do with the FTD releases have screwed up again. Does anybody know this answer.

Gee, I hope this means we get the edited version of "Blue River". I've loved that song ever since the "Tell Me Why"/"Blue River" single was issued. he engineering isn't very good on the track (the drums drive the track into distortion), but it's a terrific song nonetheless.

Tiger, you've got to be kidding! You must never have bought the "Double Trouble" soundtrack album because those songs are 'bonus tracks' on the vinyl album. No one goofed up...in fact, they've done exactly what should be done with those songs...put them on the cd equivalent to the long playing album. And I do hope the artificially extended version of "Blue River" is on there!!!!

Great news, finally a soundboard release of this "crazy" concert. So far I've only read about it... and just reading about made me laugh. The 7" Double Trouble... well I have to buy that, I don't want the other 7" soundtracks on the bookshelf to feel lonely :-)

I am happy to see DT being released. I think it is under-rated, it's one of the better movie-albums. I especially like Baby, If You'll Give Me All Of Your Love, Could I Fall In Love, Long Legged Girl and There Is So Much World To See . I Love Only One Girl is also a fun song. In my opinion DT is much better thank f.ex the albums from Spinout, Frankie and Johnny, Clambake, Paradise Hawaiian Style....
