FTD October 2005 Releases - Only Summer Festival

August 25, 2005 | Music
Contrary to previous news reports only the "Summer Festival" soundboard CD with Elvis' dinner show performance from August 11, 1972 will be released by the Follow that Dream label in October. Ernst Jorgensen informed Elvis Australia that "Loving You" and "Something for Everybody" are delayed due to his recent illness which he is still recovering from. So they will be released, just not in October.

Oh dear! Does this has anything to do with Ernst's recent ill-health? If that is the case and with all respect to Roger Semon and everyone else involved, it shows how valuable his work for the FTD label is. At the risk of sounding selfish I wish you Ernst a speedy recovery and back at the helm of future FTD releases.

If FTD released this kind of cd`s , what will be the next sony/bmg. I think It would be a very cheap year for me.

Right elpete. Almost good news to see this new triple of "Already have it all elsewhere" releases not coming out. Hope they cleared Ernst's mind in the hospital, too. So he will mix a little interesting stuff under the boring triple packs in the future, that also satisfies the older fans. All the fans around me were happy with this news. Made me think about what FTD has become.

I think that the next soundboard a 1976 concert is and I think it`s an august 1 or 30th= .The next 7inch will be Elvis fool or now and the next soundtrack I think is GI blues. Maybe a bed? for the next 3 FTD`s .
