Liner notes:
August 11, 1970 midnight show is one of Elvis Presley’s greatest performances with a set list that moves fast and furious from the opening number That's All Right to the closing performance of Can't Help Falling In Love. Elvis is in top form as he was also playing to the cameras as they were filming the iconic documentary, Elvis That's The Way It Is. Now for the first time this show is available in incredible sound from the lost MGM tape mix down of the track masters and has never been heard before, so get ready grab a front row seat and listen to the man who continued to change himself and the music world...the messiah.

This is the same show that was released on the Live In Las Vegas box some years ago, right? I think that show had very good sound. I wonder how this release is soundwise.

Obviously I have not heard the recording so cannot say their claims of improved quality are wrong. But having said that, I do wonder how a 1970 mix done by MGM can really be an improvement over the 2001 Sony mix on their Vegas box set. I love the use of the word "lost", it makes people think that this is something more special than it might really be.

Jerome... Just ONE smart comment, please... JUST ONE !!!

He's famous here for his sarcastic irrelevant comments. We'd better not give him the attention he seems to crave for. Simply ignore people who have nothing intellectually constructive to share with us.

Changing the subject a little, does anybody know when/if Keith Flynn will bring back the links for the soundboard releases? I miss his site's support when I'm researching about Elvis concert releases...

I read Keith is on holiday currently... to Flynnland...

Apologies guys and I know it is sacrilege but I laughed at Jerome's latest entry.
