Free CD In Ireland Too

According to a posting on the 2nd To None message board the Elvis fans in Ireland get a free CD too. The Irish newspaper "Ireland on Sunday" should contain the free sampler CD with 10 Elvis songs, which was given away on the British mainland last week, too.

I saw the ad for this on Saturday evening. They were advertising the songs on the CD, by playing them in the background and showing clips from the '68 Special, and Aloha etc.. What they failed to mention however is that all the tracks on the CD were either alternate takes (previously released on 'Close up') or live tracks.. Bit misleading really, and I don't think there's many casual listeners out there who want to hear a binaural version of 'Have I told you lately..' Still.. it's publicity at the end of the day.
