Checked the date but it ain't april 1st yet. So it's no joke and that's not funny but actually it's old news because it happens often with FTD. Well I can still wait for a while for Elvis Is Back because the majority was already released and in my possesion anyway. The soundborad are all alike and I already have plenty of those so that's no problem either.

This is the same old story everytime a FTd release is about to come out it is always delayed. I can't remember the last time a FTD release came out on the date they said it would. I still look forward to the releases but please try and stick to the stated release date.

Whilst I do very much enjoy the FTD releases surely there really can't be much left "in the can", for us collectors who yearn for previously unheard tracks. Given the excellent success of "A little less conversation" and "Rubberneckin" in extended and remixed form, not to mention the mind blowing unofficial release "Born to rock", surely hasn't the time come to do more of this. I would certainly rush out and buy an album with extended, revamped mixes of the King's classics. I love the originals but they are too damn short, on the whole. I think "Born to rock" (or "C'mon everybody" for those of you who didn't know) would have been a number 1 single. "Burning Vegas down" was nearly as good too! Anyway this will continue to keep me happy till I get too old to rock!

Why does it seem there's FTD delays more often than not? What's the problem?! Nothing is more aggravating, as a fan, than expecting the release of a cd only to hear it's going to be delayed. What a crock! How many years have these guys been doing this and they're STILL having delays? Why not work all the kinks out first AND THEN announce a release date?! Sorry, folks, but this is years of frustration I'm talking about.

Another FTD release delayed. Surprise! I always take these release dates with a grain of salt. Jimmy Tompkins: You'd rush out and buy an album of remixes, good for you. But I'm not interested. The only reason I have them is because they were stuck on E1/E2.

Okay...here goes: I can hardly wait for "Elvis Is Back" to be released. The original cd was marred by the awful distortion on the first track. I'm counting on FTD to get the album right this time. The packaging is definately worth the extra $10 that an FTD release costs. "Spinout" is a great example of what can be done with a regular album.

sorry elvis is back has been delayed, but i'm sure the delay will be worth the wait as with all ftd releases they try to give us the best quality recordings available and i for one cant wait to buy this release,on to another point, jimmy tompkins wrote that there is a unofficial release of " born to rock" or c'mon everybody as it is better known where can i get a copy of this track as i had mentioned on this website about a year ago that c'mon everybody would be a excellent track to remix,so jimmy or anyone else who has this track i would really appreciate a copy thanks

As disappointed as I am in hearing about YET ANOTHER delay, I must say the finished product FTD furnishes is very nice. It looks like we'll be getting 2 cds for the price of 1 with some forthcoming releases, so I reckon heeding Elvis' own words would be wise, "You gotta take the bad with the good."

Come on guys, it's just a delay - no big deal! I don't understand some of you guys, to me you sound like a huge bunch of whiners. Always complaining about this or that - "Oh no it's delayed", "why did they not add another 5 min of songs to this CD", "I cant get the BMG/Sony singles", "Oh EPE is so bad I hate them" blablabla. I know people are just expressing their feelings, but I am getting a bit tired about all the negativity. Is Elvis all that matters in your life? I think we fans have a lot of stuff to look forward to, even if things are delayed! Stop whining, you sound like a bunch of women who has their period....

Am I mistake, or wasn't the Elivs on Tour rehearsal disc and other discs before Christmas out early?? Release dates are always changing for all artists, it isn't just an Elvis thing. If the stuff came out on time but with an error somewhere, people still wouldn't like it!

Am I mistake? Oh dear, I can't type today! Sorry

Maybe if they gave us just one FTD at a time, instead of three (must think we're all millionaires) They would be able to work to the time scale given.

Not a big deal ! I've waited so long to have something like "Elvis is back" in the FTD serie, that I can wait some days more.

Whats a week really? These are great releases and we are lucky that they continue to be put out. I know that i cant get hold of them quick enough, but as E once sang 'anything worth having - is worth the waiting for! I must say i get more excited about the FTD stuff than how many copies the latest re-released single has sold or where it appears it a fading chart.

i think they should release 1 ftd a mounth rather than 3 in 1 month as we are not all made of money.

No, it's not the end of the world that there's yet ANOTHER delay, but why is it FTD releases are delayed more often than not? It gets to be more of a joke and yes, it is frustrating to deal with. Once in a while, sure, but more than 50% of the time? Come on now. I was one of the first to complain, but came back with giving credit where it's due: FTD does put out a very fine product; I just wish they wouldn't delay as much as they do.
