First Video Show Canceled

January 26, 2011 | Other

Ticket sales for the so-called Video Show in the US for next month have been somewhat disappointing. Due to a lack of interest, one show at the Mohegan Sun Casino has been canceled. The concert on the 12th is still on, but the 13th has now officially been canceled. The band then travels to NYC for the concert at Radio City Music Hall on the 15th, which should be sold out by then.

Again people still don't get it. They still think that it is just an impersonator show. Well In Turkey when I mention about the concert the first reaction is "An Elvis impersonator right?"...After I explain the whole thing, then they go "wowwww!"

No wonder they have dissapointing ticket sales, they haven't got Bouke in the show..

Even in the UK, where the show has played many times since 1999, people still cannot grasp the concept of the show. I have had people as me which "Elvis" is in it!

That is strange. Ticketmaster never had two shows for the Mohegen casino, only the show on the 12th.

Is there any possibility to know how many shows have been sold out totally since 1999, so far? Lots of people tell many were sell out shows but I just wonder. I think there can be a report about it.

According to several postings on the EPE Message Board, including one from a fan who actually works there, there never was a show advertised for sale on 13th February at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Looking at the seating plan for the show on the 12th there are only 41 seats left for a sell-out.

I work at one of the Casinos in Ct, and there was nothing ever advertised for anything on the 13th. I will be there on the 12th.
