great mag as usual amust read for any elvis fan. andrew is a great bloke to speak to he will give you the time of day anytime not like some fanclub.mag. editors i have spoken too.

How does this mag compare against A Man And His Music which I find to be the best one out there right now? Opinions?

I still Like Elvis the Man and his Music the best. I look foreward to getting it four times a year and usually read it from cover to cover. Having said that, I have to admit that Essential Elvis is a close second and each issue gets better and better. I don't find that much overlap between the two magazines , and I'm glad both are published. It gives us twice as many informative and intelligently written issues per year.
