EPE's Spokesmann Charged With DUI

September 14, 2006 | People
As the longtime spokesman for Elvis Presley Enterprises, Todd Morgan has been in the newspaper about 180 times since the early 1990s. But this time it's different. Collierville Police arrested the disoriented 44-year-old Sunday night on a charge of driving under the influence after he wrecked his car, according to a police report.

Its very irresponsible behaviour from a person who works in a very responsible position within EPE.

This is not off topic. This is an Elvis Presley news site and when the spokeman for Elvis Presley Enterprises is arrested, it's news, in my opinion. That said, I think Todd Morgan is an excellent spokesman for EPE and he deserves our support.

He may be an excellent spokesperson for EPE, but the press could have a little fiield day with this sort of story. And if he has been arrested whilst driving under the influence, how can anyone offer their support, just because he is connected with Elvis.

Realistically this sort of thing happens from time to time. I think people are offering Todd support not purely because he is connected with Elvis, or even because he does that job extremely well, but mainly because quite a lot of us happen to like him. If he loses his job as the result of one stupid indiscretion, the Elvis world will be poorer for it. Nobody condones drunken driving, but luckily the only person hurt was him, and justice must be tempered with humanity. The Press will certainly make the most of this, but personally I hope he keeps his job.

I completely agree with you BR; we most certainly would miss him!

What's the suprise? You honestly believe anyone sober works for that bunch of incompetants?

"He may be an excellent spokesperson for EPE, but the press could have a little fiield day with this sort of story." HA. Field day? Hardly. Calm down. Outside of groups like this here on this site and other Elvis-fan sites...no one else would give a hoot about this news.

Taking into consideration that Todd works for EPE and his duties resolve around that of preservation of Elvis' memory, I feel that he should take more responsibility in his life even when he is off-duty from working at EPE/CKX. I feel no pity for Todd, blowing at .234, he should count his lucky stars that he did not kill somebody. The possibility of this could have happened, is something that he will have to live with on his conscious for the rest of his life. Shame on him. Drinking and Driving is a life sentence once you have been charged with this offense as Todd Morgan has.

WHO CARES?? This has nothing at all to do with Elvis. Todd Morgan has done a great job with EPE for many years. If he has personal problems or legal trouble on his own time, then it's his business to work it out. He was not representing Graceland at the time. I hope the powers that be at EPE don't hold this mistake against him. Elvis would have understood.

I bet he had to pour himself a drink after reading some of the comments on ElvisNews. And who can blame him for that? :D

I am not interested in Todd Morgan at all. I have not much trust in those people from the EPE as a matter of fact.

If the longtime spokesman for Elvis Presley Enterprises, Todd Morgan was arrested under the influence I want to think about the strongest EPE TEAM. what they made with the money of the Elvis fans? Will be very interesting. in what spend the money the EPE TEAM

This calls for his discharge...any one connected with Elvis' who is DUI or anything of that nature does not belong with the keeping Elvis Alive
JerryNodak wrote on September 16, 2006
Todd Morgan was arressted for DUI. Todd Morgan is human. Humans make mistakes. I'm sure he regrets what he did. Elvis made mistakes. He just didn't "get caught". If Elvis were alive he'd be ashamed at how many of you are calling for Todd's head. Todd isn't a saint, and niether was Elvis. Todd made a mistake. This hardly calls for his banishment from all things "Elvis".

I guess nobody else makes mistakes. Everyone is perfect. yeah right! hypocrites.

Anyone who drinks and gets behind the wheel of a car puts others in danger. Thank God no other folks were hurt. Having said that, I'm sure he regrets this and should be given another chance. It was a terrible mistake, but we all make them. Some folks benefit from their mistakes. This has nothing to do with EPE or Elvis. It has to do with human nature.

Thanks of God nothing was hurt. I bouguth Elvis DVD Aloha (2006). I read the name of Tood Morgan and I feel shame. I made mistakes but I never made other mistakes as buy one product under the production of Todd morgan. I think that EPE must be under medical proof for drinks or drugs

Man what are you talking about !?! It is stupid of Tod but when Gives EPE us ON TOUR ON DVD??? That's the question....!!
ext_mnx wrote on September 28, 2006
This EPE team is so curious.... Aloha from Hawai and On Tour were idea from Elvis Presley. He is the executive producer with other person but the idea is Elvis Presley 100% The EPE team only have the money and trash it in in drinks and onother foolish Elvis Presley was a person without mistakes. His only mistake was had this so hassome and beautiful face and body, talent and to be the real victim with his mother.
