Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. and Apple Inc. announced that MGM is now offering titles from its catalog of feature films for purchase and download on the iTunes Store. MGM has the largest modern film library in the world and has received 208 Academy Awards in its history, making it one of the biggest award-winning collections of films in the world.

Photographs of the late singer and actor Elvis Presley and actor Marlon Brando (R) are framed by a portion of the Academy Awards bestowed upon films from movie studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. on display at the studio's Los Angeles office, March 8, 2006.

MGM is lying to no one. Nowhere is the written copy does it specifically state that Elvis tunes will be available. Though I would guess that some will be sooner or later. I admit that in using an Elvis photo it's easy for Elvis fans to jump to the wrong conclusion. Read the copy again.

From what I read above, MGM are offering their movies in the iTunes store, not songs, and as far as I'm aware at the moment you can only buy movies from the iTunes store if you live in North America.
