Elvis's Granddaughter To Rock The Catwalk

February 24, 2004 | People
Will The Pelvis be reborn on the catwalk when Elvis Presley's granddaughter debuts as a model for Dolce & Gabbana's latest trend-setting fashions this week?

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the only designers who regularly command supermodels like Naomi Campbell to show their figure-hugging designs, plan to open both their Milan fashion week shows with Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley.

"With her mother's beauty and her grandfather's attitude, she is sure to be a star," said the design duo, whose studded jeans often boast as many rhinestones as an Elvis jumpsuit.

It remains to be seen whether Keough will sashay around in blue suede shoes or convince buyers viewing the autumn/winter 2004 collections to say: "I want you, I need you, I love you."

Does anyone really give a rat's ass about this kind of stuff? Personally speaking, I don't.

She sure is a real beauty. She will go far. Tall , thin , blue eyed and the Granddaughter of the King. I think it is almost impossible for her not to make it. Now, I am waiting to see in a few years what the only living male in the direct bloodline will do. The Grandson, Ben..

This is great news. The New York post has her picture along with EP's name on it's first page. The Toronto Sun has her picture along with a small classic picture of Elvis from the 68 special.

I agree with dismas and forelvisworld. Elvis' grandchildren have their own lives to live and we should let them get on with it, they they are NOT Elvis.
