For our 10th anniversary we added a new service to our site. Beside the well known “Give your opinion” option there is a possibility to contact other members privately through ElvisNews Simple Message.
How does it work?
The system is very basic. If you click on a member name you will get the usual member profile of that member. If you logged in yourself, you will have a menu option “Send message” at the left from now on. After clicking that you get two input boxes at the bottom of the profile: one for the subject and one for the message. After filling them and hitting the “Send” button, the recipient will have the message in his inbox.
On the homepage right below the “change profile” link (again, if you logged in) you will be notified when you have new messages in your inbox. That link will bring you straight to that inbox. You can also reach the inbox (and sent items) through the members-page (if you logged in).
One little remark: this option is not meant for calling each other names and such, but to help each other out.
