Elvis Will For Sale?

November 12, 2010 | Other

A copy of Elvis Presley's will which was found in a bin is expected to fetch £1,000 at auction tomorrow. The paperwork was spotted by a worker at a lawyer's office during a clear-out in 1987 - 10 years after the King died - and he took it home.

Also going under the hammer at Henry Aldridge & Son in Devizes, Wilts, is a scarf worn by Elvis on stage and a lock of his hair. Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge said: "The will gives a fascinating insight into the private wishes of the king of rock and roll."

Another lock of hair! It is very difficult to prove that the scarves were worn on stage by Elvis as Ed Bonja has confirmed that the ones given out from the stage were exactly the same as the ones for sale on the merchandise stand. The only person who could be 100% certain would be the original recipient. As for the will, I will refrain from comment as I do not know any other details. Could the story be true? Maybe, maybe not.
