We recently added an interview, recorded on August 9th 1975 at the Memphis Liberty Bowl Stadium by radio broadcaster Harold Johnson. Elvis was at the stadium enjoying a football game between the Memphis Southmen and the Charlotte Hornets when the interview was conducted live on air.
Essential Elvis has acquired the exclusive and official rights to the interview and a CD will be out within just a few days. The disc, entitled "Elvis Touchdown!" includes several other football related interviews with Elvis, and some unique on stage dialogue (the singing voice of Elvis does not appear on this release).
