Elvis Tissues

There's no end to the creativity of some managers. The German group Zewa, specialized in Cleenex-tissues, is putting out a series of Legends-packages. Of course, Elvis is one of them. The boxes are availabe in Germany only, and in specialized stores. The picture used for the boxes, is from the Jailhouse Rock picture session.

Disgraceful, what is this 1980s marketing reborn. I hate it when companies use Elvis like this. The UK has a couple of ad's running at the moment with impersonators but Elvis tissues?! C'mon thats awful!

It could have been worse. Consider toilet tissue linked to Elvis as opposed to other types of tissue.

Please EPE - there MUST BE A LIMIT! Don't do this to Elvis and don't do it to us the fans! All I seem to be doing lately is saying 'Elvis was a man, not a Disney character'! We all love to see his glorious face, but there really is a limit. The Radio 2 (UK) 'Ask Elvis' slot just infuriates me every week - and please don't think I am boring, but it is just another cheap pop at Elvis ..... again, and again, and again!!
