Elvis The Concert 2006 Is Getting Shape

March 30, 2006 | Other
There’s a good chance that “Elvis The Concert” goes on a worldwide tour, this fall. The video show featuring the original Elvis cast, may even bring the magic of Elvis as far as Bangkok, Japan, New Zealand, Australia. Europe – at this point – is not included in the tour schedule for 2006.

I think this Is great news. My son is 10 years old and two years ago we went to Graceland with our family and he loved It! And when he can see The King live on stage 'the circle is round'. So please come to The Heineken Music Hall again in Amsterdam!

Rolling Stones came to Brazil. Madonna will probably come to Brazil. U2 came to Brazil. Hey guys, we are just missing Elvis The Concert in Brazil.

Wow, My Gosh...I would do everything to have Elvis in Concert playing over here in Brazil - extending to other countries in South America. Maybe Brazil and Argentina, where we know there is a huge concentration of Elvis and TCB Band fans. As someone said below, U2 and Rolling Stones came to Brazil and it was not their first time here. Madonna has already been and is supposed to come back soon...There are a few other relevant artists playing in Brazil such as Santana, Jack Johnson, Izzy Gordon and many others. Come on guys, lets plan a short Tour in South AMrica I'm sure that it would be very very feasible and profitable as well. Just in case, count on me to whatever it's needed...We all want you guys here in Brazil!!!

Well, I'm a huge Elvis fan despite of being only 14y old.... I live in Brazil and everything I know about Elvis is because of my mom, she is a tremendous fan and has already been in Memphis a lot of times and also she was lucky to watch Elvis The Concert 3 times and she says that this is something very unique. I know about lots of girls and boys who like Elvis and would like to know a little bit more about his legacy. Bringing Elvis The Concert to South America, better - to Brazil, would achieve this goal! Bye

For 5 years it has been touring all over the world but not ISTANBUL;Turkey. We have two official fan clubs in Turkey;3000 members I think and each elvis event was completely sell out.BUT for five years I have been waiting for it come but it hasn't yet. Istanbul welcomed Metallica,James Brown,Michael Jackson,Madonna,Ricky Martin , Macy Gray,Adamo,Shirley Bassey and many other great stars including Jerry Lee Lewis and now Jenifer Lopez is also coming. I am definitely sure that it could be a sell out performance in magnificent ISTANBUL;the center of earth once. Elvis 1# Hits was number one here for 2 weeks so it means that Elvis lives in Istanbul too!! PLEASE!!! Let us see Elvis the Concert in Turkey !!!

I am excited that "Elvis-The Concert" maybe getting ready to roll again. I do hope it visits places it has never been and I do hope there are some US dates as well. It is just an AMAZING experience. There are many amazing things that have happened in the Elvis World since Elvis really left the building for the last time back in the summer of 1977. Without a doubt "Elvis-The Concert" tops the list.

I have seen the "Concert" twice and can't wait to see it again. I never got to see Elvis in person but after seeing this and the feeling that surrounded the audience and being part of that experience was something I'll never forget. We all talked together (intermission) laughed,cheered.clapped--it was wonderful. I hope the whole world gets to see it .

Recently South Africa has welcomed Westlife and Avril Lavigne ... Robbie Williams is here now. Why not bring us Elvis over here as well?! My friend & I attended the show in London last year, we could not wait any longer! Maybe EPE (and other) still think that wild lions are roaming our streets? LOL Thus said, I have to agree they owe South America this show.

You can send an E-mail to Elvis.com to let them know that you want Elvis The Concert to come to your country. Just some advice from someone who cares.

To renan/jacquie:it would make me very happy if our south american fans got to see the great show. you really have to be there to realise how great it is. it MUST go to s.america and as many countries as possible who cant get the chance to visit countries where it has already been played.i would gladly want them to cancel any uk tour if they did this. its the right thing to do.really hope they do it.

Although I'd like to see the concert back in europe, I really do think it's about time the organisers concentrated on South America and Africa. It's about time they witnessed the 'magic'.
